Security.
Direct Hedge utilises a three-level sign-on security structure, consisting of:-

1) Company Account ID
2) User name ID
3) User Password.

The Company Account ID is system generated together with the Master User's User ID and Password. Each Company¿s Master User assigns subsequent Usernames and Passwords. Each Company is solely responsible for management of it own Registered Details and its security outside of Direct Hedge's Online Trading Facility.

At no time will any other registered Company have any exposure, or access, to another Company's Registered Details. Companies will only have the ability to view the Counterparty list and the relevant Dun and Bradstreet information where available. Master Users use this data to deselect specific counterparties where necessary.

Security and passwords are stored in a database that is only accessible to the Direct Hedge application operator in conjunction with that particular Company¿s Master User. At no time during an on-line session is the Company Account ID, the User Name ID or User Password sent as a parameter that might be visible to another party.

Direct Hedge technical operations are managed by Direct Hedge personnel, or by authorised personnel belonging to our trusted technical partners. Direct Hedge incorporates state-of-the-art Internet technology with strictly controlled log-in protocols, independent industry-leading firewalls using the F-Secure SSH (Secure Shell) structure, including FireWall-1 from Check Point Software Tech. Ltd., together with multiple system redundancies.

Both the Direct Hedge On-line Trading Facility application and infrastructure are designed to deliver 24 x 7 x 365 operating reliability with complete security.
